Rav Avromi Teitelbaum
I grew up in Ottawa, Canada. I attended Ottawa Torah Institute high school and from there I went to Eretz Yisroel. After 4 years in Yeshivas Bais Yisroel, I got married and learned in the Kollel of Rav Tzvi Kushelevsky for another 4 years. From there I embarked on a path of learning halacha in the Kollel of Rav Mordechai Eliyahu for 2 years. It was in these great institutions, being surrounded by outstanding talmidei chachomim and personalities, that I began to be infused with a sense of mission. I wished to harness my experiences, to be a synthesis of lomdus, halacha, and mussar, in order to serve Klal Yisroel. I always hoped that my learning would ultimately translate into teaching others. I hoped that I could impress upon others that which my mentors impressed upon me. It was with this attitude that I applied to CKD.
