“Being accepted into this program has been a blessing for me and my family and has been a personal realization of Divine guidance.   Very rare is an institution that cares so much about our personal growth and is so thoroughly dedicated to our success. The opportunity to glean Torah from Rav Kamenetzky and Rav Kelemen propels me to a new level of gratitude to Hashem."

Rav Avromi Teitelbaum

I grew up in Ottawa, Canada.  I attended Ottawa Torah Institute high school and from there I went to Eretz Yisroel.  After 4 years in Yeshivas Bais Yisroel, I got married and learned in the Kollel of Rav Tzvi Kushelevsky for another 4 years.  From there I embarked on a path of learning halacha in the Kollel of Rav Mordechai Eliyahu for 2 years.  It was in these great institutions, being surrounded by outstanding talmidei chachomim and personalities, that I began to be infused with a sense of mission.  I wished to harness my experiences, to be a synthesis of lomdus, halacha, and mussar, in order to serve Klal Yisroel.  I always hoped that my learning would ultimately translate into teaching others.  I hoped that I could impress upon others that which my mentors impressed upon me.  It was with this attitude that I applied to CKD.
